Do It! Steal From Yourself To Make A Found Poem

Seeing things that do not matter,
But still matter at the same time.
One looks through and tries to find.
The answers that had been lost.
For many years.

Way too much stress handling,
About choosing the goal.
Yet keeps it simple without!
Telling anyone about the feelings.
That one has.

It is hard to follow what the heart says.

Sometimes, that is not what we want,
We have to go with the pace,
Just to see if the situation,
Will get any better.

Liking something is not the choice.
That one makes!

Mystified Emotions

Situation that one has to deal with,
At times, ends up becoming problematic.
Liking is not the choice that one has.
Since that is not what is being wanted.

Personal feelings are kept personal.
Because one wants to be subtle,
About not sharing with it anyone.
Regarding the relationships around.

Hoping the situation if it will get better,
Being on the positive side.
As it always helps to revive.
From the robust times.

Choosing a goal takes a lot.
The effort of self-realizing.
What exactly it has to be.
Not discussing the brainstorming.

That is dissimilar.

In order to write my own poem, I switched the words and tried to sort of reconstruct the poem by twisting the words and adding a little more and specific explanation (for instance, I added the title to the original or second part of the poem) of what it is trying to convey. It was challenging to re-create the poem since it had to stay in the same mood though it worked eventually. It was a good experience. :) I enjoyed it.

  1. I love how your analysis uses the word reconstruct--that's pure poetry mode!
