Do it! Make a Replacement Poem

Anyway
Poet: Unknown

People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered.
Love them anyway!

If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.
Do good anyway!

If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.
Succeed anyway!

The good you do today, will be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway!

Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.
Be honest and frank anyway!

The biggest person with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the smallest people with the smallest minds.
Think big anyway!

People favor underdogs, but follow only top dogs.
Fight for underdogs anyway!

What you spend years building up may be destroyed overnight.
Build anyway!

People really need help, but will attack you if you help them.
Help them anyway!

Give the world the best you have and it may kick you in the teeth.
Give the world the best you've got anyway!

Nonetheless!
They are not rational, commonsensical, or altruistic.
Hate them nonetheless!

If she does bad, they won’t acquit her of clear self-abnegation aims,
Do worse nonetheless!

If she is a failure, she won’t win true enemies or false friends.
Fail Nonetheless!

The bad she does tomorrow, will not be remembered today.
Do worse nonetheless!

Dishonesty and introverted behavior do not make her defensive.
Be dishonest and introvert nonetheless!

The smallest person with the smallest ideas cannot be shot down by the biggest people with the biggest minds;
Think small nonetheless!

They oppose victors, then lead only underdogs.
Peace-loving for top dogs nonetheless!

Whatever she neglects years destroying may not be built overnight.
Destroy nonetheless!

They really do not need hindrance, then will not attack her if she hinders them.
Hinder them nonetheless!

Take the world the worst she has and it may remunerate her in the teeth.
Take the world the worst she has got nonetheless!

Explanation: It was quite challenging to redesign the poem since the original one sounded extremely nice and meaningful. It took a lot of thinking process of how to reform the poem, so it could make some sense at least. I realized how the second poem (the reconstructed one) has a little negativity yet being the strong poem as it conveys some heartfelt images of what is being said in it. I enjoyed writing and I can tell that writing poems are really difficult since they have to have some texture along with the quality of the words in it to get it connected with the reader, so the bibliophile can have the feeling of the words to understand in the simplest yet the best way.
